CUSD Preschool is proud to announce a new tuition-based, year-round, full-day Infant and Toddler program, for children ages 3-36 months. It is located at Rosemary School’s Family Learning Center.
This new program expands our variety of early education offerings at each CUSD elementary school.
Our district-operated preschools serve children from 3 months to 5 years old with full-day and half-day programs.

The issue includes an update on the reorganization proposed for Campbell Middle School and several other regular agenda items. Answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the reorganization are also available on the District’s website at campbellusd.org/news/reorg2016faq.
Please note that a change on the 2016-17 school year calendar will affect family schedules. The shorter school days set aside for Parent-Teacher Conferences were moved to Oct. 31 through Nov. 4. To see the updated calendar, go to https://www.campbellusd.org/calendar
New digital marquee signs at all CUSD schools are making it faster and easier to share announcements with families and the community. To accommodate neighbors’ wishes, we’ve adjusted the signs so they operate from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 4 PM on weekends. We reduced power/brightness from 100% down to 25%, and we’re exploring ways to make the internal fans quieter. Otherwise, the signs are proving very helpful in notifying people of important dates and events at the schools so they may plan accordingly.

Wednesday, August 17th
TK & KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP—Appointments for all incoming Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to participate in Roundup will be sent out during the second week of August. Students will meet with a teacher for approximately 20 minutes and some preliminary assessments will be done to assist the teachers in creating balanced classes. If you are unable to make your appointment time, please call our office at (408) 364-4259 to try to reschedule. If you are unable to attend on that day, your child will be assessed after school starts.
Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:00 pm
CLASS LISTS POSTED – Class lists will be placed in the office windows at 5:00 p.m. on the night before school begins. Your child’s five digit student ID number will be needed to check the lists. It can found on the letter in the envelope that was mailed to you earlier in August. No names will be listed to protect student privacy.
Wednesday, August 24th
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL – School begins at 8:17 a.m. Adult supervision begins at 8:05 a.m. so please plan to drop your child off between 8:05 and 8:17 every morning or bring your child to school and wait in the breezeway with them. Wednesdays are minimum days for all Campbell Union School District students. TK through 5th grade will be released at 1:35. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, TK to third grade students are released at 2:35 and 4th & 5th graders are out at 2:40.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT for TK & Kindergarten will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This is a parent only event. Please join your child’s teacher in their classrooms to find out important information about instruction at Marshall Lane.
