Important Back-to-School Dates
Our next school year will be here before we know it. Here are some important dates to mark on your calendar
Wednesday, August 17th
TK & KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP—Appointments for all incoming Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students to participate in Roundup will be sent out during the second week of August. Students will meet with a teacher for approximately 20 minutes and some preliminary assessments will be done to assist the teachers in creating balanced classes. If you are unable to make your appointment time, please call our office at (408) 364-4259 to try to reschedule. If you are unable to attend on that day, your child will be assessed after school starts.
Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:00 pm
CLASS LISTS POSTED – Class lists will be placed in the office windows at 5:00 p.m. on the night before school begins. Your child’s five digit student ID number will be needed to check the lists. It can found on the letter in the envelope that was mailed to you earlier in August. No names will be listed to protect student privacy.
Wednesday, August 24th
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL – School begins at 8:17 a.m. Adult supervision begins at 8:05 a.m. so please plan to drop your child off between 8:05 and 8:17 every morning or bring your child to school and wait in the breezeway with them. Wednesdays are minimum days for all Campbell Union School District students. TK through 5th grade will be released at 1:35. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, TK to third grade students are released at 2:35 and 4th & 5th graders are out at 2:40.
Tuesday, August 30th
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT for TK & Kindergarten will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This is a parent only event. Please join your child’s teacher in their classrooms to find out important information about instruction at Marshall Lane.
Monday, September 5th
LABOR DAY—No School
Wednesday, September 14th
