Updated Covid Protocols

New Guidelines

As you know, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) recently updated the Covid protocols for schools. This has changed our processes related to exposure notices, quarantine, and testing requirements. Recently, you received a letter via email outlining the new procedures. Please read it so you will be aware of the new requirements, protocols, and procedures.

Campbell Union School District and Marshall Lane School have many mitigating measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid at school.

  • Mask wearing is required of all students and adults on campus except when eating and drinking. This includes outdoor areas, at this time. Please ensure that your child has a well-fitting mask that stays above their nose. Recommended types are N95 or KN95 for the best protection for children and adults.

  • Students remain in their classroom cohorts while eating lunch.

  • Weekly surveillance testing is recommended for all students and staff members. This is available every Wednesday at school free of charge. To enroll in Grapefruit’s testing program, click here.

  • Ventilation systems at school are hospital quality and filters are changed on a regular basis. As much as possible, doors and windows to classrooms remain open.

  • Vaccinations are highly recommended for all children and adults.

  • Hand hygiene is encouraged on a regular basis.

  • If children or adults are experiencing any symptoms, they should stay at home.

As a supportive community, we need to continue to work together to protect each other. Thank you for all of your efforts to keep everyone healthy and safe! You are appreciated!
