Marshall Lane Elementary School

Summer Construction

Over the summer, our campus will be seeing some changes.  Our school is 50 years old and needs some updating.  Using bond money, the district will be supporting the renovation of the underground infrastructure including gas, electrical, water, and sewer systems.  This will help to ensure that all of the basic services remain functional for our students.

Beginning the day after school ends, this major renovation will begin to take place.  Since it requires that the entire campus will be torn up, all of the teachers and office staff will be vacating the campus on the last day of school and will not have access again until right before school starts in the fall.

In addition, changes will be made to the front area of our school and all of the hallways.  This should make our school look even more beautiful than it already is.  Our staff is excited about these changes.  We look forward to returning to our updated campus right before school begins on August 23rd.  Look for more information about the progress on the construction on our school website beginning in August when the office staff returns to school.
