Marshall Lane Elementary School

VOLUNTEER of the YEAR for 2016-2017

Each year, every school in the Campbell Union School District has the privilege of honoring a person who has gone above and beyond to make a contribution to our schools.  At Marshall Lane, it is always difficult to choose just one volunteer since we have so many awesome people in our community.  We truly appreciate the hard work and contributions of each and every one of you!  Thank you so much!

This year, our Volunteer of the Year Award winner is Allison Conta.  Allison Conta has been a constant supporter of Marshall Lane since her older child began Kindergarten here.  Both Allison and her husband, Jon, have participated in a variety of ways to benefit our school.    Allison has worked both at the classroom level and at the school level.

Helping out wherever she is needed in both of her children’s classrooms, Allison has assisted the teachers in a variety of ways.  At the school level, she has worked extensively with the PTA on a number of fundraisers.  Most importantly, Allison has been instrumental in raising money at our Spring Fling. Her ongoing efforts throughout the years Allison has been at Marshall Lane has raised a record amount of money.

Everyone at Marshall Lane appreciates Allison Conta’s efforts to support the students and teachers in her children’s classes as well as her work to raise funds to benefit our school.  We are very proud to recognize Allison Conta as Marshall Lane’s Volunteer of the Year for 2016-2017!
