Safety for our Students

This morning, an unfortunate incident occurred on Marilyn Lane involving one of our students. We have the following safety procedures in place to avoid problems such as these. Please review our policy below.

At Marshall Lane, we have specific procedures to keep students safe during drop off and pick up times. Parents of TK and Kindergarten students are required to park and walk their child to their classroom. For drop off and pick up, the only place where this may take place is in the identified drop off/pick up zones.Children must exit or enter the vehicle on the school side, not on the side adjacent to the traffic lanes. Children and adultsmust use the crosswalks.

It is not safe to drop children off on the streets surrounding the school. Please exercise extreme caution when dropping your child/ren off or picking them up in the appropriate locations and while driving on the streets around our school. Our main goal is “Safety First”. Please help us to achieve this goal every day.
