CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE of the YEAR for 2016-2017

Marshall Lane is fortunate to have many classified employees who work hard every day to support our students, teachers and other staff members.  It is hard to choose just one to honor.  However, this year our staff is honoring our school secretary, Michelle Roberts as our Classified Employee for 2016-2017.

Michelle began her career at Marshall Lane as our attendance and health clerk and did a great job in that role.  When our secretary left in October, Michelle applied and accepted this new job.  Despite the fact that the learning curve is steep, Michelle never gives up. Instead, she works hard every day to learn all of the aspects of her new job and does her best with every task she is given.

One of Michelle’s greatest strengths is her ability to maintain positive relationships with people.  She is a team player who is willing to do whatever needs to be done for the good of our students, our staff, and our community. She was always patient and kind to everyone.

It is difficult to express how very valuable Michelle Roberts is to us at Marshall Lane.  Michelle is the heart of our office and does an outstanding job making everything run smoothly. We truly appreciate her calm presence and many contributions to our school.  We are thrilled to honor her as Marshall Lane’s Classified Employee of the Year for the 2016-2017 school year.
