Dear Marshall Lane Community Members, Welcome back to school, for all of you who are continuing at Marshall Lane. To those of you who are new—welcome to our school! It is a fantastic place to be and I know that you and your child/ren are really going to enjoy it here! As we begin the new school year, I hope that you will consider joining the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Marshall Lane. This group does so much to enrich the children’s experience at school that they are invaluable partners. |

Marshall Lane Elementary School’s a new website is more attractive, easier to see on mobile devices (e.g. tablets and smartphones), and more user friendly than our old site. Now you can easily check the events calendar, find school news, contact our staff, see what’s for lunch, and much more. You can even change the language. We’ll be refining it and adding new features as time goes one. For now, we invite you to take a look around, try it out, and let us know what you think. Thank you! |

Marshall Lane's Back to School night for grades 1-5 is Wednesday, September 2nd. There will be a general meeting from 6:00-6:30 on the 1st grade field. Following the general meeting, 1st through 3rd grades will meet in your child's classroom from 6:30-7:00. 4th through 5th grades will meet in your child's classroom from 7:00-7:30. This is an adults-only event. See you then!

Hello everyone,
We hope your school year is off to a great start. We are filled with joy and gratitude to be a part of your school community. Each year, we choose a theme to guide both our learning as professional educators and our teaching in schools. We are both inspired and motivated by our theme for the 2015-2016 school year: Mindfulness. |

| Marshall Lane's Annual Pumpkin Walk | September 10, 2015 - 11:40am |
One of our biggest family events of the year will take place on Saturday, October 24th. Our Pumpkin Walk is a fun event with activities, games, and food. We do not celebrate Halloween by having children wear their costumes at school, so this is the perfect time to have your child/ren dress up and have some fun. Join our costume parade at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Knowledge Center. See you there! |

Family Movie Night will be taking place on Friday, October 2nd. This year, we will be showing the movie, The Incredibles, on the upper field. Bring a blanket, low back lawn chairs, and your snacks or dinner at 6:30 to claim your place on the field. The movie will start at 7:15. |
