A Message from Mrs. Vanderbosch

Dear Marshall Lane Families,

Welcome back to the new academic year! I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Marshall Lane. Alongside our new assistant principal, Michelle Beddo, we are excited and ready to embark on the 2023-2024 journey with all of you. The campus is looking sharp, and our dedicated staff has been preparing for the return of your children.

I have been in education for 30 years and in CUSD for over 20, serving a number of roles at various schools. Most recently, I was the assistant principal at Rolling Hills, the middle school that many of our Marshall Lane students attend. This experience has given me valuable insights that will help guide our teachers and students towards successful transitions beyond elementary school.

Over the summer, I have been delighted to meet and learn about the number of adults who play a role in supporting our school. Our collective strength is awesome, and we welcome anyone who wishes to contribute to this essential work. As a result, we can offer a wide range of programs for your children, including before and after school care, art, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), music, physical education, and social-emotional programs. These opportunities enrich your child's daily experience at Marshall Lane.
