Family Academic Chess Class Begins on January 15th, 2019

Academic chess is one of our most popular activities. Numerous students stay after school every Friday afternoon to learn the game and challenge each other.

New to Marshall Lane this year is a Family Chess Night. This will take place every Tuesday from 6:15 to 7:15 in our cafeteria. It begins on January 15th and will continue until March 26th.

This class is an opportunity for children and their parents to learn and practice chess together with a chess master. Parents will be able to spend quality time with their students. The Chess Curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all levels of players. Current Friday chess class students may attend the family nights for free. Only the adult will need to pay for the class.
