Help Needed at Lunchtime--both volunteer and paid positions available!

During lunchtime, our teachers take a well-deserved break while students enjoy eating lunch and playing with their friends. Supervision at this time is taken care of by paid yard duty supervisors and parent volunteers.

We are in need of people to fill these positions. The time frame is from 11:30 to 1:00 each day. People are able to work every day or only during certain days of the week. If you are able to assist either as a paid yard duty supervisor or a volunteer parent, please call our office at (408) 364-4259 to sign up. Our students thank you!

SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS on August 28th & August 30th

Every year, we do a school play in collaboration with an outside drama organization called Starting Arts. This is an after school program that students in 3rd to 5th grades may opt to participate in.

We are very excited to announce that our play this year is Lion King, Jr.! In this play, the African savannah comes to life with Simba, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

The cast will rehearse every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:40 to 4:30 p.m. from August 28th until the performances on December 6th, 7th, & 8th. Starting Arts provides a professional director, a choreographer, and a music director to work with the students. Costumes, props, lighting, and a set are also provided. This is an outstanding experience for students to help them to become more comfortable singing, dancing and acting on stage.

If you think that this is something that your child would enjoy, you can sign up online at www.startingarts.com/enrollment
