CUSD School Earns State Award

Marshall Lane Elementary is a 2023 California Distinguished School

Campbell Union School District is pleased to announce that one of our schools is being recognized with the prestigious California Distinguished Schools Award. Marshall Lane is one of 356 schools receiving the honor this year.

The award is part of the California School Recognition Program. It is given to schools that perform well on the California School Dashboard’s key indicators, including assessment results, chronic absenteeism, suspension rates, and socioeconomic data. 

“I want to thank everyone at Marshall Lane—teachers, students, administrators, classified employees, and parents—for working together to provide high-quality learning experiences and educating students to their highest potential,” said District Superintendent Shelly Viramontez.
